Cousins to the Boralion (I believe), the Crystalions were released close to Luminaire (or Christmas for everyone else). These festively-colored beauties seem to be quite energetic in their beta stages, perhaps they will retain this energy when they grow into their Omega forms. Whether they do or not, please help me out by giving them a little food when you are able to.

Please forgive me for my prolonged absence from the labs. I have been so very busy as of late, and...well, you know.

Anyway, regarding Valenth, the Skids have been re-released to us yet again, so I have taken the liberty of getting two more. This is only for research purposes, so don't expect me to enjoy going around and having people cooing and fawning over them. Yes, that means you.

So, here they are. Try your best to keep from killing them.

How interesting. They resemble something you can get from a carnival. I'm guessing that these creatures will be shiny and mechanical. At least they will be more suitable for the approaching Morostide. Nefirian definitely made up for the release of the Chicklets...

Well, not completely. I still believe he's lacking. Either way, be sure to feed these lovelies as well. Peel back the foil if you must, just be sure you feed them so we're able to get along with our experiments.

Ah. Nothing much seems to have changed. Many of the adoptables have leveled up. The Chicklets seem to be being neglected. Please feed them so we can continue our research upon them.

I really do not find it amusing for Nefirian to release such a festively-colored creature so close to Morostide. It's annoying, to say the least.

Ah well. On a different note, we should soon have some omega Imps.

Never. Freaking. Again.

This is the last time I go and buy new video games on a Sunday. I was up until the wee hours of the morning slaying creatures of darkness on Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. It was so much fun, but I'm so tired, and the Chromal Leupaks are practically running rampant...

I suppose tomorrow, I'll have to clean up their (or my) mess... At least, if I don't catch myself slaying skeleton knights and fleamen until 2 A.M. again.

But, onto science.

Nobunaga, Ieyasu, and Okuni have all hatched, and poor Kanetsugu is all alone with a bunch of Flarions! Poor dear. Luckily he doesn't have long left before he can join his siblings.

Meanwhile, Kalira has grown into her Omega stage, making her the first Omega I've had since those Waterwings. I am overjoyed with this, and am eagerly awaiting the evolution of Banafrit and Agana.

So...I suppose that's it. Now go away. I'm tired...

Quick Edit! Kanetsugu has reached Beta stage, but he's still behind Nobunaga, Okuni, and Ieyasu! Show him some love, too!

The Lapsworgs Miss Altaïr adopted seem to be growing slower than before. We're not sure why this is, but once more research is done, an inference will be made. The Flarions adopted recently are showing great promise (mainly because of Miss Altaïr's ~~obsession with~~ admiration for the Chapter Kelan Flarion. The Maidens are rapidly approaching Omega stage. The three imps are approaching the halfway mark, and will most likely hit Omega before the end of the month.

Anyway, the Flarion is still very new, so I don't have the omegas. However, from what I have heard, these creatures are large dragons that are colored like flames. They are extremely beautiful as well. After all, they are a species associated with Kelan Flarion... *dreamysigh* So be sure to feed them nicely, okay?

The four infant Lapsworgs seem to be getting a lot of attention. Krüs attained up until this point will be put into buying an Alchemy Stone for preserving Okuni's Beta stage. Nobunaga, Kanetsugu, and Ieyasu will become Evil, Neutral, and Evil respectively.

The three Land Drakes have hatched from their eggs, and are showing steady progression along their respective routes to Omega. Mrushka seems to have gained more attention than the others, though. Current reasons for that are unknown, but I'm sure to get an idea once they hit Omega.

Land Drake

The Land Drakes are a fairly new species, so the ones I acquired haven't grown up yet. From what I have heard, these creatures are like dragons, but have a build similar to raptors. They are extremely fast, being able to run as fast as 50 miles per hour. As long as they don't run off, be sure to feed them, too.

Oh dear. The Imps are the ones that I really hesitated on getting. They're mischievous little brats that just don't listen. They break things in the lab, knock lab equipment over, open the cages and let the Chromal Leupaks out, and...well...just wreak havoc upon the laboratory. Be sure not to let them out of their cage when you feed them.

Maiden

The Maidens, being a fairly new species discovered, is one I haven't fully figured out yet. They're very good for travel, especially because of how strong their wings are. I am particularly fond of them because of their gentle dispositions. However, I have come to figure out that, though they may seem sweet, they do have a nasty bite...

Waterwing

The Waterwings are somewhat annoying. Their cheery disposition seems to set most on edge (me being one of them). Pay no mind to them, though. They are adaptable to their environments, even to a dry one like the laboratory. I do have a pool for them, though, but they refuse to swim in it. Whatever. Just feed them and move on.

Chromal Leupak

Like their brother, the Mercurial Leupak, the Chromal Leupak's appearance varies greatly in the Omega form. Many attribute this to the Fatis Mirajin's extremely strong influence over them. The Chromal Leupak is more vicious than their brothers, but they can be kind if they are shown kindness. K'thraang, my lawful Chromal Leupak, is more or less the mascot of Altaïr Laboratories, due to the fact that he was bold enough to step into the center of the banner and sneer about it.

Lapsworg

The Lapsworgs happen to be my personal favorite of the creatures that inhabit Valenth. They are very patient, loyal creatures who will not hesitate to sacrifice themselves for their masters. They are very sweet doggies when you happen to treat them kindly. And pay no mind to how Nouhime looks. She's merely asserting her dominance over Mitsuhide (any Samurai Warriors 2 fan should understand me). They do not, however, appreciate being fed things that they dislike, so be careful!

Bloodhawk

The Bloodhawk is particularly useful for the transportation of messages over a long distance. These beautiful birds are very easily tamed, and, why, if I get the opportunity, I will begin my own aviary for these! Please note, though, that they can be easily angered, so if you do not feed them what they like, be warned that you may get a talon to the face.

Viadante

The Viadante is said to be the ancestor of vampires. Personally, though, I don't see how such barbaric and disgusting creatures could be spawned from the graceful and beautiful Viadante. These creatures can steal your soul if you peeve them enough, so take my advice and only feed them the foods they desire.

Mercurial Leupak

The Mercurial Leupak particularly interests me, mainly due to the fact of the variance between the final forms of each. While most creatures manage to remain fairly similar to one another in their Omega forms, the Mercural Leupak and brother Chromal Leupak (to be seen soon), deviate from this, having strangely varied appearances. Be sure to feed them, or else they may become very angry...and you don't want them to get angry...

Prrb

The Prrb. A cuddly bear with an especially odd name. I'm still unsure how the name came about, but hey. How can you resist that face? Well...not Irata's. She still looks like she'll kill you. Just be sure to feed them the right foods, okay? Tadakatsu gets a Sundrop, Shimazu gets Sparkling Water, and Irata gets a Wyrm Fruit.

But seriously. How can she eat something as prickly and spiny as that?

Varanius

The Varanius is particularly useful, especially due to the fact that they are very good at household chores. My Varanius, since they are so helpful to me around the lab (and the house) get special treatment. Ranmaru should only get the freshest Ambrosia Nectar, Aelita the best Faerwethr Roast, and Nightmare the best Stolen Souls.

Chimaera

The Chimaera. I found these creatures to be particularly interesting, due to the fact that they are feline like myself. Anyway, off that point, these creatures are also to be pampered, so be sure to only pick the ripest Chimrean Pears for Nailah, get the best-brewed Balance Elixir for Sakon, and the most ferocious Suspicious Green Treat for Qii-ahn.

Kumos

The Kumos. One of my personal favorites of the creatures, due to its popularity not only in the world of Valenth, but also due to its popularity in the world of Subeta. I have three of this adoptable. The holy is on the left, neutral in the middle, and unholy on the right. I am particularly fond of my Holy Kumos, which is why I give her only the finest Dreamdust on the market.

Skid

The Skid. I wasn't too fond of this creature, so I only adopted one. This one was given only foods of the evil alignment, namely Tainted Ichor.

Of course, since everyone told me I couldn't make any inferences with only one of them, I had to get two more. Hmph.

Boralion

The Boralion, the first of my adopted creatures. Since I was not able to adopt three of them to show the different outcomes, I'm afraid that there's only one result. This one was given foods of a Lawful alignment, namely Sundrops.

EDIT: Due to the Boralions being rereleased, my partner Sabrewolf was able to get three more to represent the Neutral, Chaotic, and Beta forms.

So, you're waiting for an introduction? Okay, then, this is Altaïr Laboratories. I am Freya Altaïr, the founder and head scientist of these laboratories. We have currently been experimenting upon creatures found in the land of Valenth. Depending on what you feed these creatures, I have found, they change shape differently than those of the same species that are fed different foods.

So, you may as well take care of my work today and feed them! Get to work!
